Dr. Jim Roach is a graduate of Duke University, University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine, and Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center’s family medicine residency. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Holistic Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is a founder and past-president of Woodford Habitat for Humanity, was state chairman of Kentucky Action (tobacco control), and helped Rupp Arena become smoke-free. He received citations from the Kentucky House, Senate, and Governor in 2000. He was the 1997 central Kentucky ‘Leader in Healthcare’ by the Lane Report and lectures on bioidentical hormones and other health-related topics. |

Dr. Kim Clawson is a cum laude graduate of the University of Kentucky with a major in nutrition and food science. She graduated form the UK College of Medicine and received the Carey Award for Emergency Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at UK. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Holistic Medicine Association. For 14 years she served as a UK Health Service physician, and was a UK basketball team physician from 1990-2000. She is trained in Reiki. Dr. Roach and Dr. Clawson attend several national confernces each year in the areas of nutrition, anti-aging medicine, holistic medicine, and botanical medicine.
Dee Dee Carman is a certified nurse practitioner who has 20 years of experience as an emergency medicine nurse. Her extensive experience and friendly demeanor make her a popular caregiver at our office.
Amy and Dee Dee are our friendly receptionists, Aunda and Gayle courteously handle the office duties, and Trisha is our excellent nurse.
Midway Center for Integrative Medicine is located in Midway on U.S. 62 at 129 South Winter Street, next to the Midway Baptist Church and just 2 blocks from downtown. From Lexington and Frankfort either take U.S. 421 (Leestown Pike) or take the Midway exit from I-64, follow U.S. 62 into town, and we are 2 blocks past the railroad tracks on the right. From Versailles, take U.S. 62 into town and we are on the 3rd block on the left.
Midway Kentucky is in the heart of the Bluegrass, surrounded by beautiful and famous horse farms. It boasts the best restaurant in Kentucky – Holly Hill Inn, and six other sumptuous and popular restaurants. Historic downtown is full of attractive, quaint shops, and the Thoroughbred Theater provides family musical entertainment every weekend. Recommended lunch spots are The Quirk and Darlin’ Jean’s Cafe.
